A conference on the legacy of rabbi Solomon Judah Rapoport to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of the prominent rabbi and scholar
On the 15th of October 2017 a conference on the legacy of rabbi Solomon Judah Rapoport (1790-1867) was held in Jerusalem at the Zalman Shazar centre. The conference was organized by the JGB and it’s Haifa University centre to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of the prominent rabbi and scholar, one of the founders of Wissenschaft des Judentums movement.
