Scholarships

International Project on the Jewish heritage of Galicia and Bukovina  at the University of Haifa and the non- profit organization Jewish Galicia and Bukovina have awarded in the year 2017 five scholarships to established and promising young researchers and students who are researching the history and cultural legacy of the Galician and Bukovinian Jewry until the eve of World War 2.

Mr. Samet writes his dissertation on "Sefer Kzot Hahoshen", under the supervision of Dr. Rami Reiner. He excells in his PhD studies and earned an MA in Jewish thought in Ben-Gurion University with great honors.

Mr. Ezra Brom

Ben-Gurion University, department of Jewish thought

Mr. Brom writes his MA thesis, titled: "Foundations of Nationalism in the writings of  Nachman Krochmal and its acceptance in the circle of Ahad Ha'am" under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Meir. He has a BA in both Jewish thought and psychology.
